Challenge
The Belgian Coilprofil metal sheets producer has been operating in Romania since ’02. They had developed a range of different products and were selling them under a bunch of different brand names, out of which METIGLA was the best known. They wanted a corporate rebrand for the Romanian market and we were in talks for a new name.
Approach
After auditing the brand, we recommended keeping the name METIGLA for its awareness capital and aligning all other business lines behind it. We then made sure that the visual identity reflected the positioning on the market. We created the image of a smart, reliable, and friendly constructor, passionate about its trade and thoughtful to its clients.
Results
After adopting the new name and visual identity, METIGLA’s revenue went up 16% right the following year. Two more years in the market, and their revenue increase reached 28% compared to before adopting the new identity. While conducting good business is certainly the merit of the management, our insight was proved correct and beneficial.
