Brick, primul brand de magazine de bricolaj de home improvement si proiecte DYI din tara, cu o traditie de aproape 20 de ani, are o noua identitate vizuala semnata de INOVEO.

Proiectul de rebranding marcheaza strategia de dezvoltare a companiei care isi continua expansiunea cu noi deschideri de magazine in noi orase. Primul care va fi deschis cu identitatea implementata va fi cel din Satu Mare in luna martie.

Identitatea vizuala este continuata cu elemente din prezent – culori si linii drepte. Acestea reprezinta rezistenta si duritatea, exprimand geometria constructiilor, iar imageria aduce caldura si functionalitate. Pentru o comunicare distinctiva a fost creata mascota reprezentata de un castor, cunoscut fiind ca mester constructor de habitate.

Mesterul Castor este menit sa creeze interactiune cu publicul sau si sa duca mai departe promisiunea de a fi aproape de client: cu sfaturi, cu raspunsuri la intrebari, cu preturi accesibile, cu noi produse in sortimentatie.

Challenge

BRICK is the first Romanian home improvement retailer, boasting a 20y tradition and looking to extend its range of products and services. A leader on the local market in southern Constanta, BRICK was looking out for improving its brand appeal to final customers, while at the same time making more fruitful deals with large buyers.

Approach

Research suggested the possibility of using a friendly character as a mascot for the B2C brand touchpoints. We came up with a savvy beaver that conveyed trust, skill, and friendliness. The mascot may be used as a character in various imagery but was styled and simplified for a stronger impact as a logo. For B2B contexts, we provided a less playful supergraphic.

Results

BRICK currently implement their fresh, new visual identity, both in retail stores and online. They adopted the friendly beaver instantly and chose to call it the Beaver Wizard. The brand book we created for them helps navigate with ease and attention through the multiple occurrences of their identifying elements.
